Gossip Girl

If you have not yet watched or finished Gossip Girl starring, that list is quite long, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chase Crawford, Penn Dayton Badgley, you will not wish to read this before you do.

This is truly a spoiler.

Towards the end of last year I decided I needed a new show on Netflix to partake in after I completely exhausted all of the teen, drama series that were remotely interesting.

I decided to watch Gossip Girl.

When It was running on television it never really seemed like something that i would seriously continue watching but that first episode sparked a dramatic interest in me.

I didn't know whether it was the schemes,

I was secretly in love with Ed Westwick,
inspired by Blake Lively and Leighton's wardrobe,
or the dire feeling to find out who was Gossip Girl (GG).

As I droned in season after season I found my self at season 4 wondering when will GG be revealed.

Praying that this wasn't going to be like Pretty Little Liars, which dragged out all the way to starting it's 5th season which I stopped watching at the beginning of season 3.

But something about Gossip Girl kept me wildly intrigued.

It wasn't like any other drama I have ever watched.

So many different love stories untangled.

The most confusing would have to be with the gorgeous, Kelly Ruthersford as Lily Van Der Woodsen, whom was married multiple times and to very devious men such as William Van Der Bilt, Bart Bass, and not so much deviant Rufus Humphrey.

Even with that being said the most beautiful relationship that unfolded was between Leighton and Ed's characters Blaire and Chuck.

There were numerous ups and downs but at the end do the day those two were written for each other.

The relationship I hate with out a doubt goes to Serena and Dan.

Reasons being is I now I hate Dan more than I hate his sister Jenny Humphrey.

Dan's hate filled expose contains basically he was constantly hating on Blair, then all of a suddent is in love with her. Then he has strange relationship with Vanessa due to them childhood friends he knew the out come from that at the beginning, when she came back was going to be a disaster but he kept letting it happen. Finally the most disgusting delusional thing he did to rebound off of Serena was become Georginia's maybe baby daddy and then her partner in crime. He let some crazed idea of being a part of the upper east side change him into everything that his family despised which was being money hungry, scheming, lying and stealing overall to be apart of Serena's life when he was what she wanted along. So yes I hate Dan Humphrey for changing his subtle ways.

Jenny's goth psychological break down of Gossip Girl history. People really thought Serena was going through it but Jenny hit rock bottom and then some. She, like her brother, was very caring and honest, as well as all she wanted to do was fit in. But this girl tried way too hard and got herself in some ridiculous situations. I first knew I was going to hate Jenny when she took it upon herself to change her wardrobe from beautiful and respectable young lady to Gothic deranged girl. Her appearance change literally upset me the most.

Moving on to lighter subjects Nate was dating this young chick, that we very pretty but had this sick thing for ruining her dad's relationship with Serena, didn't like going to school and stop doing all things she enjoyed in life.

The love stories went on and on changing with in every two episodes if not in the same one.
It was quite disturbing on how these love triangles played out because they practically all dated each other, with the exception that Chuck and Serena never had a thing together, which I think all fans are truly grateful for because Blaire and Serena's relationship would not have survived its many trials and tribulations.

Regardless of how manipulative the cast was I never had the urge to wish that I was wealthy because of it.

Having money is a plus side and the American Dream but it didnt cross my mind "if I were in their shoes I would have spent my money differently or did the same thing".

I was always caught up in the thought that money was never really the issue to what was going on but that is completely excluding the entire Ivy Dickens/Charlie Rhodes escapade.

By the way I absolutely hated the Ivy Dickens character - but I think that is what the show was trying to accomplish meaning I don't think they wanted people to like her for reason. Same reasons being why no one would like Bart Bass, William Van Der Bilt, Jenny Humphrey, Georgina Sparks, Vanessa Abrams, Carter Baizen, Carol Rhodes, and Russel Thorpe.

Getting down to business, who was GG.

This was the worst person you could have ever imagined.

I cannot believe people thought the loving Dorota or Eric Van Der Woodsen could have been GG.

Out of any one it was none other than Lonely Boy, Dan Humphrey.

How pathetic right!

Then at the end of the last episode he ends up on top marrying Serena.
